Yearly Goal Hit

I would like to take this moment to congratulate myself because last week I reached my goal of getting 10,000 views in a year. Since it is still August this is a huge achievement for me and I am so proud.

I would like to thank everyone involved in making this happen. I appreciate every last one of you.

I will also take this opportunity to also say I’m planning to quit smoking finally and hopefully that will be another goal crossed off my list this year. I have been moving more and more onto my vape pen and hopefully that will stop the cravings till I can quit completely. 

Again thank you everyone for making this what it is. I didn’t think people would honestly read my shit. 

Also I might be having a placement to do film reviews on another site, so watch this space.

200 and counting

This post marks my 200th post on this blog and 16 months of me having this. 

Honestly I was shocked when last year I managed to get to 100 posts last year, and I’m even more shocked that I have got this far with the blog. I’m seriously close to this years goal of 10,000 views and I’ve had so many new followers. 

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has been involved with my blog the past few months, and here’s to the next 100 posts

So for the questions I was asked

1. What made you want to start blogging?

I started blogging in March 2015 after I realised that I couldn’t find a therapist that was suitable for me and not expensive. I started posting, then I stopped. Then one day I got really pissed off over a situation and started blogging again. My views blew up in a matter of days and a post went viral. I then decided that I would write about being queer and queer life.

2. Do you have a favourite post you have written? What is it and why?

Well the one that got my blog out there would be my favourite but I have tried to cut ties with it now.
One post I am really happy for is for my review on legend. Fuck knows why I get so many views on that every month.
Another post I’m happy for was the very first post in the queer dating series. If it wasn’t for its popularity I wouldn’t have started writing a book.

3. Tell me the story behind your blog name (if there is one)

I didn’t want a gimmick or a hook. I just wanted something plain and simple, so I decided with my full name.

4. Favourite book/TV show/movie? Why?

I’ve posted about them on here on three separate occasions but The Simpsons has to be my favourite TV show ever. I’ve grown up with it, it is like a warm family and has taught me so much about myself.

5. What is your greatest achievement in life so far?

Our (Kai, Josh and I’s) Facebook page “Homos, Heteros and a Whole Lot More” just reached 35,000 followers. That shits fucking unreal if I’m honest. I never expected that a year ago it would have been so popular. 
Working for FTMBrighton also. They are such an amazing team and I couldn’t work with anyone better.
Actually doing this blog is an achievement in itself. I thought I would give up on it, and I haven’t. Instead I am constantly trying to make it better.

6. Do you have anywhere in the world you would love to visit?

America. I need to get my ass to America. Also I would like to go to the North Pole. And Japan.

7. What are the top three things on your bucket list?

I want to skydive
Publish my first book
Visit friends that are all over the world.

8. Favourite pizza toppings?

Seafood or Ham and Pineapple

9. Best dream you ever had?

I don’t really remember dreams. Not good ones anyway. I only remember ones where bad things have happened.

10. Do you have any regrets in life?

No, because the mistakes I have had in my life, have made me what I am today.

11. Finally, if you could be a fruit, what fruit would you be and why?

Strawberry because they taste so fucking good.

I’m an Aries, and as to whether I believe in them, I’m really sceptical about the whole thing. It feels like most of the times its just a load of buzz words that could apply to anyone. Sometimes it seems accurate, but it could be just because it’s written like that.

1) Thank you to everyone who has wished me happy birthday today, I appreciate it

2) Thank you to my family for having me with them. I love spending time with them, and I miss them already

One Year Blog Anniversary

At the end of this month , it’s officially one year of having this blog. In a year I have pissed off more people then I ever thought possible. Written more stuff then I ever have and dedicated myself to a single project for the longest period of time I know. Also I have also got my 100th follower.

This year has been a rollercoaster of a ride for myself, my family and loved ones, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking by me. Thank you family for having to deal with the fact I talk about sex and genitals and Thank you to Kai and Steph for both being such wonderful partners. I am blessed to have you I’ve had peers come up to me and tell me how they read this. I’m still blown away that I’ve been thanked for even saying stuff so openly.
The truth has been however that I started this blog because medication was failing me, and I needed a way to get out all my pent up feelings before I attempted suicide. I never expected it to blow up the way it did l, thanks to a certain post I posted in August.
I’m also reaching people further then I ever imagined and thanks to the huge growth of our Facebook page “Homos, Heteros and a whole lot more”, I’m reaching 1000s of people on great days.

Whilst I am here, I would like to take this moment to thank P0j0 for having more patience for me then most people could imagine. Outside the hard external shell is a fucking caring human being. He’s dealt with me from the very start, even has put up with my bullshit when I’ve been mentally unstable (or doped up on painkillers, I start arguing over civil freedoms with an American). He is such a genuine guy and will be there for you regardless how often you fuck up. If he gives you advice, you fucking take it kids. This man has took meunder his wing and taught me more than I thought I would learn. Keep being you man.
I would like to thank the WordPress app, because I wouldn’t be here without you.
Thanks to the people I’ve been angry about. Whether its big organizations or the guy who gave me dick pics, you have been a huge inspiration.

Thanks to you dirty little bastards who are googling porn and reaching my blog, just because of a few posts talking about the porn industry. I love you guys Thank you to all the internet friends I have spoken to and made throughout the past year. Thank you Shannon for the 3am chats, the blog rants and being the person I screamed to before I wrote blog posts I would regret. Thank you Olivia for being a Corgi loving babe. Both you ladies have a special place in my heart. Thank you Freddie also, you have been one of the greatest friends I could ever hope for.
Thank you to all the people who have guest posted on here, and thank you to the people who refused my dating article because it wasn’t heterosexual. It wouldn’t have pushed me harder to work on this.

Ten things I’m thankful of – 11

Finally I am posting my first TTITO this year. I realised I haven’t done this is so long, so it would be nice to start it up again. The past couple of months have been a bit weird but nether the less, here is my list

1) My family and partners. They have been and continue to be a wonderful part in my life. Honestly I am really fucking lucky to have them all in my life. Steph and I recently had our 6th month anniversary and in February I will be celebrating our 3 year anniversary with Kai.
2) Olivia. The internet brings often very little comfort but I have got lucky to find someone who is utterly adorable and is smart and funny. She has been a huge rock lately ❤
3) Amazon wish lists. Kai and I were blessed by a couple of wonderful people who in different parts of the world have bought us gifts. We are so thankful for the items we have got. Thank you so much.
4) The trans alliance. They set up swimming for trans people once a fortnight and it's been wonderful to go and do that for an hour.
5) Internet friends. They have been wonderful ❤
6) Hormones. I'm finally starting to see more realistic changes now. Its also been 2.5 years being on T.

7) Hair dye, because who wants boring coloured hair
8) WordPress. Because I’ve been able to get so many more followers recently and the blog is getting more and more popular
9) Knitted scarves because its cold outside.
10) Fireplaces. Again because its cold.
