Eulogy

Today I have been told to write my own eulogy. Since this is a pretty weird one, I’m still going to try it, but I don’t know how this will pan out. 

Tyler was always a special person. Not special in the fact they were kind or smart, but special in the type of way that they called everyone a cunt and never knew how much rice was enough to cook. 

He dedicated a lot of his time to helping people. Even when it took a lot out of him. He was a generous lover, and had many partners. He helped create a better service for trans people and helped with lgbt people get into services they needed to go to to get support.

They will be missed. Not just for the good he did, but how he enjoyed swearing at people. Whether it was accidental or not. Let’s remember Tyler for who they were and not just the person people thought they were. 

Writing Prompts

So I’m now doing a daily segment challenge where I shall be writing something every day off a list that’s been created by people shouting out ideas to me. They will be entirely different and will be an extra from what I normally write anyway. 

If anyone wants to throw me some ideas, please do and I will add them to the list. They can be pretty much anything provided that they are non fiction and will only take a couple of hours tops to do. 

Basically same shits getting posted in the next few weeks but a few extra bits are being done too. 

200 and counting

This post marks my 200th post on this blog and 16 months of me having this. 

Honestly I was shocked when last year I managed to get to 100 posts last year, and I’m even more shocked that I have got this far with the blog. I’m seriously close to this years goal of 10,000 views and I’ve had so many new followers. 

I would like to say thank you to everyone who has been involved with my blog the past few months, and here’s to the next 100 posts

Five Questions – July

So this month we are starting out a new post. Each month we ask random blog writers and people on the internet different questions and we post the results. In return I share the peoples blogs or whatever they want to share if anything. I should add a disclaimer that the views posted are not of my own and are opinions of other people outside of this blog. Also some of the people who have contributed are not native English speakers, and some like me are dyslexic. So in light of the EU result, do you think it will have any impact on the UK and what do you think will happen? 

With the decision to leave the EU, I personally think while it may seem bad right now, that down the road the UK will come back better than ever. Coming from an American, I doubt it means much, but I sincerely believe it will boost their economy to a better level than it was before the decision. It will take time, but great things come to those who are patient. – Staci L 

Well, I think it will have some impact, but not for longer period. UK have potential to be one  of the strongest in Europe, they just have to use all theyr resources clever. – Leo O

Yes I do think it will affect the UK especially people that run businesses who import from abroad will find it hard to get goods, along with the welfare of our kids with there futures could be in jeopardy – Monique G

I think it’s having an impact already as there is an increase in racial andxenophobic hate crime. I think this is likely to continue. There may well also be an increase in other kinds of hate crimes. People who are able to may leave as they feel unwelcome. Perhaps there will be some resistance also. I’m not sure what will happen next but I feel very deeply concerned about it. – Dirk H 

Unfortunately I can only answer the first questions as an outsider who doesn’t even have a tv. That being said, I am very concerned about the decision that was made and do believe that it will impact the UK negatively. I think that the effects will only show much later and to be very honest I am not entirely sure what the effects will be. (I am very sorry for this answer, as I say I do not really feel like I have enough knowledge to properly comment on this). – Staci S

I believe it will raise taxes and affect every country that the UK is connected to. I think it will do more bad than good. – Alexis W

After the Pulse club shooting (and the following shootings after) do you feel that the LGBT community are getting more or less abuse then they were 10 years ago? How do you think it would get better for the community? 

The Pulse shooting, and subsequent shootings were terrible, and a heart wrenching loss for the LGBT community. I, however, do not believe it is worse than it was 10 years ago. Just more public. With the rise of social media, also comes a higher level of learning what is happening. Seeing all of these murders happen, I see many people coming together in support, so things will improve, even if it takes time. People from different backgrounds, religions, and phases of life are coming together to support the community, and little by little, people are beginning to let go of their fear and hate. And I hope to continue to see this, so that one day, no one has to live in fear because of who they are, or who they love. – Staci L

People are afraid of things they dont understand, and that’s the only reason LGBT community is getting more abuse now than they were 10 years ago, even though there is more and more “non” LGBT people ( like myself ) that support them, than ever. Time will be on theyr side and hopefully all people will start to understand how nice and open minded LGBT community is. – Leo O

I do think the lgbt community get it hard and wrongly there is no difference between them and straight people I think it is discusting and wrong people like that should take. Custom to what they look at to what they want to see or think they see – Monique G

I think it’s really hard to say and I’m not sure that I can generalise. I remember the nail bomb in the late 90s so it’s not as if it wasn’t happening then. Also Orlando was specifically targeting Latinx LGBT folk and the shooter apparently hated immigrants so I think there’s more than one issue. The event was promoted featuring trans women of colour and they face the most violence already. On a personal level in the UK and as a white gender non conforming queer I’ve noticed more of an increase around the referendum than around the Pulse shooting. – Dirk H

The pulse shooting was a massive blow to the LGBT community world wide. Personally speaking I have always thought that the grass was greener on the other side and often felt jealous about people in other countries who can freely express who they are and the pulse shooting really made me question our rights and how things can get better.  I think that although things have appeared to have gotten better in terms of our rights there are still many issues with the way that many people in the community view LGBT people and I think that it is going to take very many years and generations to transform minds as sad as that is. – Staci S

honestly I think that it depends on the area and the type of people these LGBT members are around. In places where I live, Florida, 4 or 5 hours away from Orlando, people are very conservative. Florida is very literally full of old people, people who were taught growing up that being gay is not natual, and their parents never even thought of that, atleast to my knowledge. In places like Russia, gay men are hunted down, called pedophiles, beaten, raped with objects, forced to admit they’re gay and are pedophiles, and sometimes killed. However, in places like New York and California, the most a gay couple walking down the street holding hands will get slurs yelled at them occasionally. 

Russia is stuck 10 years in the past and shows how America would be if we never accepted the LGB community. America has certainly improved in the last 10 years regarding this. – Alexis W

Do you think Trump will become president and what impact will it have on America?

As much as it absolutely kills me to admit, I do believe Trump will become Americas next president. Our country will be torn by war, hate, and fear. It will bring war to other countries, and people will die for this country. It’s a sad way to live, and a world I’m scared for my children to be living in. – Staci L

I’m not sure about trump being president. If he. Does I think America will be ‘scrude for time if a hypercritical arse like him thinks he could run a country well God help them – Monique G 

I hope not. I really don’t know but he might do. I think it will be dreadful. I think there will be a big increase in violence and suffering. – Dirk H

I think that Trump has a strong chance of becoming president and the thought is horrifying. Whether he will actually become president or not, I have no idea. From what I have heard of his ideologies I think it would be a disaster for America and I hope that the people will see that and not vote for him. – Staci S

No matter who is elected, America is going to burn. Who ever is elected is like choosing how you want America to burn. If Donald Trump is elected, our foreign policy is shot. We need someone with a good, solid plan for Russia, the Middle East and Mexico. Donald Trump is not that person. However, between him Hillary and if Bernie Sanders was still in the race, Trump is the most qualified. – Alexis W

What do you think is your favourite blog post and why?

I only read your blog posts about LGBT community since I want to know LGBT community better, since on Balkan they dont understand LGBT community and wont accept it, so gay or bi people wont come out from “closet”. – Leo O

My favorite blog would have to be Kai’s because it has totally opened my mind to things I have not thought of before and they have a really beautiful way of writing and talk about topics that I find interesting and inspiring (granted I don’t read very many blogs and really should get better at reading some). – Staci S

Where for you think you will be in the next 10 years? Do you have any goals you want to reach ?

In the next ten years, I hope to be done with college, and living a successful life. I hope that my children can have a better childhood than I did. As for goals, I just want to have college funds set aside for my babies, and for them to be happy, healthy and loved, and to not want for anything that I can’t provide. – Staci L 

Hopefully on some better place, where health care is free, there is job for most of us, and  where people dont starve to death ( Since in my country  there is over 500k of them without job and health care. And it’s “only” 4 million of us). My goal was UK, but since “Brexit” I dont think it will be possible, since there is tons of restaurants that need Chefs ( I’m Chef ), and it would be perfect opportunity for me to help my family here in Croatia. – Leo O 

I want to do something for. My. Kids to show them I’m success full and for my partner and I to own our own deli or restaurant – Monique G

I hope to be a counsellor specialising in gender and sexuality and working alongside two other awesome trans friends who are training as well. I would love to also work part time as a tattooist with yet another awesome trans friend. – Dirk H 

In the next ten years I like to see myself in a place where I can openly express myself in terms of my sexuality and the way that I dress and speak. I hope to still be teaching art which is my passion and inspiring young people to always chase their dreams. My goal for the future is to have my artwork displayed in a gallery in the UK (I know it is a very big goal) and I am slowly working on a concept and hope that I will finally be able to achieve that dream of mine. – Staci S

I’ll be 26. Hopefully finishing up college, or out of it. With a stable job, going to travel across Europe for a year, visiting as many counties as I can. Healthy, athletic, and running marathons. Possibly living in Canada or in a northern European country, like Norway/ Sweden/ Finland. – Alexis W

Quick Break

I have taken a week off blogging, mainly because I am still recovering from being ill and a shit ton of personal stuff happened recently, that I have promised that I would keep quiet until it gets resolved or people are happy.
I have a load of content pretty much sorted for Monday onwards, but until then I just need to finish having a small break after the April challenge and my infection.
PS. For each ten views of my blog during May and June 1p is going in a pot. I am essentially sponsoring myself to write. At the end of June it will be distributed between 3 groups. They are FTMBrighton, Trans Pride and NOTA. Hopefully this won’t be a total disaster and I’m not giving 3p to each of the groups. It might work to raise funds, it might not. We shall see.

A-Z April Challenge

Kai told me earlier today that they were going to do a blogging challenge this month, and since I am a terrible person I am stealing this idea from them.
Rather then pick an idea I let people from “The Witnesses” decide what I should write about each day. As I am writing this, they are going through the alphabet now.
I am probably going to regret making this choice because quite frankly they will say anything. So expect everything from cute fluffy animals to violent butt sex. Am I worried, yes I fucking am, but do I like a challenge, certainly.

The posts go up each day, starting from the 1st. There will be no alphabet posts on Sundays. Whilst this is going on, regular posting might still go on. It depends how exhausted I get with this.

One Year Blog Anniversary

At the end of this month , it’s officially one year of having this blog. In a year I have pissed off more people then I ever thought possible. Written more stuff then I ever have and dedicated myself to a single project for the longest period of time I know. Also I have also got my 100th follower.

This year has been a rollercoaster of a ride for myself, my family and loved ones, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking by me. Thank you family for having to deal with the fact I talk about sex and genitals and Thank you to Kai and Steph for both being such wonderful partners. I am blessed to have you I’ve had peers come up to me and tell me how they read this. I’m still blown away that I’ve been thanked for even saying stuff so openly.
The truth has been however that I started this blog because medication was failing me, and I needed a way to get out all my pent up feelings before I attempted suicide. I never expected it to blow up the way it did l, thanks to a certain post I posted in August.
I’m also reaching people further then I ever imagined and thanks to the huge growth of our Facebook page “Homos, Heteros and a whole lot more”, I’m reaching 1000s of people on great days.

Whilst I am here, I would like to take this moment to thank P0j0 for having more patience for me then most people could imagine. Outside the hard external shell is a fucking caring human being. He’s dealt with me from the very start, even has put up with my bullshit when I’ve been mentally unstable (or doped up on painkillers, I start arguing over civil freedoms with an American). He is such a genuine guy and will be there for you regardless how often you fuck up. If he gives you advice, you fucking take it kids. This man has took meunder his wing and taught me more than I thought I would learn. Keep being you man.
I would like to thank the WordPress app, because I wouldn’t be here without you.
Thanks to the people I’ve been angry about. Whether its big organizations or the guy who gave me dick pics, you have been a huge inspiration.

Thanks to you dirty little bastards who are googling porn and reaching my blog, just because of a few posts talking about the porn industry. I love you guys Thank you to all the internet friends I have spoken to and made throughout the past year. Thank you Shannon for the 3am chats, the blog rants and being the person I screamed to before I wrote blog posts I would regret. Thank you Olivia for being a Corgi loving babe. Both you ladies have a special place in my heart. Thank you Freddie also, you have been one of the greatest friends I could ever hope for.
Thank you to all the people who have guest posted on here, and thank you to the people who refused my dating article because it wasn’t heterosexual. It wouldn’t have pushed me harder to work on this.

And finally, thank you to the average reader, the people who come back, and the first time here. Without you, I honestly think I would have given this up. I’ve been viewed in countries I didn’t think would. I’ve been shared on Facebook and I’ve had people tweeting me. Its been a rollercoaster, and I’ve loved it.

Apology To Everyone

I have to make an apology to my readers.
In my previous post I mentioned the differences between poly and being Mormon. I realised after I posted it that I could have educated myself on Mormons rather than taking from advice on a few people.
I have since been told that only a few sections of the Mormon faith do not approve of birth control. I would like to apologise for the misinformation.
Secondly I have been told that all genders are treated equally in the original teachings, however it is based on patriarchal systems and women are mainly expected to keep out of “men’s business”
Whilst I personally find a lot of “organised religion” to be problematic, I should have researched it better and spoke to a lot more people before speaking about something I have very little knowledge about.  I am very sorry about this and I will certainly aim to research better about subjects I know little about.
I am not going to promise not to fuck up again. I am human, I fuck up often. However if and when I fuck up, I will apologise and educate myself on the subject.

Again I’m very sorry for people I affected in my post.
