Possible Patreon And Moving Forward

I’ve been doing this now for a couple of years now (thank you everyone who has been here from the beginning) and I think it is time to seriously start moving forward with this shit now. 

I have been toying with the idea of setting up a patreon for myself and the blog. Whilst I do enjoy doing this, I want to start doing this on a full time level as opposed to part time. The amount of emotional and physical labour it is costing me to try and be two separate people to get by day to day is too much. I also want to finish the book I’ve been writing for the past two years, and possibly start on a couple of others. I believe that me setting up a patreon will not only encourage me by working harder on my posts, it will start to bring in some sort of revenue. 

I am still going to continue to write on here, and I will still have all my content on my blog free to readers. That will not change. I just need to start getting professional with it now. I do want to get a business account as soon as I possibly can, if anything , just so I can have free reign and my own domain name. I also want the ability to be able to continue to do reviews. Unfortunately because of my mobility and cut backs, this has become on the verge of impossible. If I can’t get out the house, I can’t see shit, I can’t grab shit and ibcabt purchase things either. 

I also want to try and do a podcast to, where I answer questions about sex,dating, rants and trans stuff. Something that had been a huge part of this blog, but unfortunately something I’ve not been able to persue because of issues. I don’t know if these podcasts would be a patreon exclusive or something else entirely. 

Finally I want to have more reader based content. Finding stuff to rant about, whilst highly librating, is also exhausting. GIVE ME TOPICS FOLKS! I also do want to bring back “Fuck you, it’s your turn Friday’s”, where readers submissions get posted to the blog. If you do have topics you want me to personally cover, you can always tweet me @tcausten with an idea. 

Basically. I need money, I need to do more things, and I need to get my ass into gear. Please give me reasons to continue this ❤

What Do You Want From Me?

As you know, this blog has been going on now for a year in March. What I would like to know is what would you like to see from me, in this blog? I’m looking for as much feedback as possible and with that I’m going to take it and shove it up my ass , use it as the valuable information that it is, and work my blog around it.
As I have said before that my blog is here for the readers, just as much as it is here for me. Because if I didn’t have readers, I wouldn’t bother, and would find other ways to amuse myself in the early hours of the morning.

So please, if you see this. Please comment on here saying what you would like to see more of.

I Hit 50 Posts

So I hit 50 posts. I can’t actually believe it. I honestly didn’t think I had got that far if I’m honest. I thought I was at about 30, but I was greeted with this notification in the early hours of the morning *GO ME*

So catching up from this, my most popular one has still been about “Brighton pride” and that’s hit over 800 views now, which is amazing because all I’m doing is ranting about how awful it is.
I have started doing more blog challenges and more posts that will being in more interaction, and I think I will continue to do this more often.
From my last catch up post, I said that I wanted to average out at about 10 views a day, and this month (so far) its been hitting an average of 20, which I’m amazed for, but I know I can do more.
I have found a note book that I’m going to use to write my ideas for new blog posts, so I don’t forget them, and hopefully I will be able to write some successful content.
I still haven’t decided yet whether I want this to be a transition blog, a craft blog, or any other niche blog, so I am going to continue to write about how I’m feeling, and what is affecting me at that time.
I’m going to try and advertise more, and hopefully I will get a larger amount of permanent followers by the end of the year.
I hope that in 50 more posts I can talk about how my views and content has improved, and that we may start talking about making this blog something bigger. Till then, keep reading , and thank you for following.

Quick Update

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who reads my blog. I appreciate the views, from something that has been used as a tool to get out my frustration is getting over 100 views a week. This may seem tiny at the moment but I am so happy about this.
Secondly, as you can see I have re vamped the site. There is an easy way to now follow via email, and a box that shows the content that everyone else is viewing. I hope that these new changes make navigating through this site easier.
Thirdly, there are more changes to come. As promised there will be a minimum of 3 posts a week, as well as that, there will (hopefully) be 2 reviews a month on random products/events/whatever I can. As well as this I am planning to still try and do the guest post slot as much as I can. I’m always looking for guest posts for “Fuck you, its your turn”. As you can guess, they will never end up on freshly pressed, but I have no restrictions on content, unless it breaks the law.
There will hopefully be more link ups, and more posts like ” 10 photos I love” , “Ten things I’m thankful for” (which is a weekend based post) and other challenges like them.
If there is anything that you want to see here, please comment. I’m always willing to try out new ideas.
