Ten Things I’m Thankful Of – 17

I haven’t done one of these in a couple of months. I’ve been so busy with so many things I haven’t had time, so excuse my absence.
For starters, thank you to my wonderful partners. They have been amazing as always and they put up with me being a dick.
Thank you to my family. I’ve gone back up to Scotland for a couple of weeks and as well as spending time with them, I have been able to fuss baby owls.

Thank you to the NHS, because they have been pumping me full of painkillers and medication whilst I have been on and off ill.
Thank you to the random stranger who asked me to do a review in exchange for a free e-copy of there book. Whilst I didn’t like it personally, it was still a great offer and I appreciate it.
Its difficult because the rest of the news hasn’t been great lately, especially with the terrible result of the EU vote. So I would like to thank the people who actually voted to remain. We tried.

Thank you to all the people who will be affected by this news. Thank you to all the people of colour for putting up with this shit news. The members of Europe who live here and are now getting abuse. I’m sorry that you are getting abuse. You don’t deserve this.
Thank you to the people who have supported me lately when things got shit.

Sure you can! We understand that in life transportation and mobility can be a limitation, but here at Bobs Buddies, we are here to help and go the extra mile!
We can easily arrange together a personal appointment to meet you where ever is most comfortable, for example your house or at your favorite park.

Owls, Crows and Furry Things.

Its been a wonderful 2 weeks being at my mums and seeing the family, as well as the wonderful animals we have been blessed with. With this, I have decided to do a post on what’s happened the past two weeks.
I was first introduced to the new edition to the house, Russell. He is a crow and a mouthy little fucker. He’s so adorable though, and is still growing because he’s a baby. We have him because he has a deformed foot and he wouldn’t have survived in the wild, because he struggles to use it sometimes.

I then took the time to finally get round to making greeting cards, which look quite good actually. I think I have frustrated my mum by me taking over her table, and replacing all her stuff with all my crafting materials. If you want to check them out, they are here

It was also my mums birthday during this time, as well as my brothers and so I took my mum to see Legend which was amazing, and ordered a curry, which was so good.
I also spent time relaxing with the family, and they are telling me about how they are trying to set up something utterly wonderful with the owls. You will have to watch this space because its still quite quiet, but “Bobs Buddies” will be an amazing project and I hope that it goes really well. All I know is that when I’m getting back, I’m making lots of badges with Bob on them, and giving them to the family. So watch out for an update.

As well as this, I got my blogging award, won two tickets to Traumfrau for the 30th October (expect a review) and managed to clear a little bit of the shit that was going on in my head.
So yeah, that was my two weeks at Scotland with the family. I hate leaving but I know that it won’t be long till I’m back up again to see them.

8 Photos I’ve Taken – Animal Edition

So I’ve been at my mums for a week and I can safely say there are a lot of animals there. If you haven’t seen some of my posts before (or if I haven’t mentioned), there is one dog, one crow, two owls and 5 horses. I thought now would be a good time to post pictures.

The first three photos are of Jonny and Cheese. They are totally adorable, and were nosy as to why I was trying to take photos of them. The other 3 were out playing at the time.

Pepe le Cat. OK , Pepe isn’t even mums cat. He just lives outside mums house, and we feed him. He has been living outside there for 10 years, and we do not know how old he is. I named him pepe because when we first saw him, he looked like Pepe le Peu , from the old cartoons. He’s pretty much a wild cat, but sometimes he will come over for fuss and head rubs.

To quote her full name – Mrs Candy Pants Poopy Doos. She’s a huge cuddly puppy sometimes. She loves playing with toys and jumping on you for cuddles. She’s also a huge furry lazy creature. For a border collie, she is also scared of almost anything. Sticky tape, balloons, the hoover, anything. I love her so much though.

Finally in my selection of photos, I’ve chosen Gizmo, the snowy owl. He’s still a baby and going through his first proper molt at the moment, but he is just so sweet. He is also really heavy too for a bird, and quite big. He loves my brother loads (brother in first picture) and always gas a startled look on his face. He also has HUGE hairy feet too.
