I sadly could only stay for an hour of this event because I got really tired and had to go home, so I’m really bummed out about this.
If you have never been to the yellow book in Brighton, it is the UKs first “Steam punk” bar. Honestly for a little bar just off London road, its really good. We had our poly meet there a few hours previously (thank you for putting up with us) and we decided to stay on for this.
We only saw two acts. The first one was a story telling. I’m a bit upset because I got lost about half way through. Thankfully the wonderful person who did the story telling did copies of what they wrote, so I look forward to reading it.
The second performer was a fantastic acoustic guitar player who did humorous songs. She was fantastic.
I’m frustrated that I can’t remember either of the peoples names, so I will come back to edit this at another day.
I wish I could have stayed for longer but sadly the body didn’t want me stay out.
I hope it was a great evening, from what I saw of it. It was really good.
PS – The yellow book let you try on hats.

So today I spent today with my other partner Steph. This morning I asked them what they wanted to do and they texted me “LETS GO TO CREAMS!!” and then sent me a time when they would be there. So at 4 I turned up and we ate.
I finally got a chance to once again eat the Canadian waffle, which this time was far better then what it was last time. Last time they put so much cinnamon on it, it was like doing the cinnamon challenge but with so much maple syrup it was like eating glue. This time however it was much better and the flavours didn’t over power the waffle.
Also I need to say this, because its important news. If you order a large drink, you get a free pastry. So I got a free croissant with my coffee. There is nothing better then a free pastry.
After Creams, we ended in my favourite pub “The Marlborough” which is an amazing queer friendly post. And whilst Steph was having a meeting I preceded to start writing this post.
Honestly I am so lucky to have two partners who are both so loving and so caring and that I have been so fortunate to do things with both of them the past two days. Tomorrow I get the chance to spend time with both of them at the same time and go to a queer friendly club night. So I will certainly post about that.
