Today I’ve been asked to describe zebra’s without using black or white, so here it goes.
Zebra’s are smaller stripy horses found in zoos, safaris or wildlife areas.
Writing Prompt Challenge
I’ve had a few mentors in my life, but a couple of them really stand out. Rad primarily.
She taught me to be professional and to stand up against peoples bullshit at the same time. She would tell me when I would fuck up and she was the one who discovered I was dyslexic after I handed over some of my course work to her.
Without her drive and passion, I wouldn’t have got far in life and I wouldn’t have learned that I am actually a human being who can get shit done.
Today I have been told to talk about what it’s like to sit by the ocean.
If you didn’t know this, I live on a coastal city, so I am surrounded by the sea. It’s very nice to sit on the beach on a nice day and listen to the waves and the birds flying over head. It can also get really busy during the summer time as its a huge tourist attraction. But on the plus side, you can catch a great sun tan.
It’s also great to sit and eat fish by the seaside. I don’t know why, but it always seems to taste so much better.
Today’s daily challenge post is to write about what I like about make up. Considering I’m a masculine person, I didn’t expect anyone to give me this topic, but it happened none the less.
I do wear make up from time to time. I give zero fucks about who society thinks it’s designed for or what not. Anyone should be able to wear make up regardless of gender or gender expression. Most of my collection is on the blacker than black side of the colour spectrum, but that is because whilst I still love make up, I am still a goth.
I do also own a couple of purple items too. Make up is fun to try out and experiment with. Playing with different colours is fun, and making your lips or eyes brighter is so fucking cool.
Basically, don’t knock it, unless you have tried it. And I give serious respect to the people who dedicate hours of their lives applying it and doing YouTube videos about it.
Today I was told to write a poem about what I am passionate about.
To be honest, one I am really terrible when it comes to poems and creative writing and secondly I couldn’t think how I could do this one. So today is a fail. Sorry.
However the things I am passionate about are

Today is about asking me what is the one thing I want in life. This also follows on from my news that I received this morning.
What I really want, the one thing, is to have my top surgery being done this year. Today I got closer to that as I got sent the provisional date for my surgery. Honestly I’m so fucking hyped for it, and I couldn’t have wanted anything else.
My dream pet would have to be an otter. They are so fucking cute and squeak when they are happy. I’ve always wanted to feed an otter it’s one of my few life goals to do.
Another dream pet would be a dragon, but that’s because I could fly on their backs and dragons are kick ass.
Today I was asked about what makes me angry the most. So I will do this into bullet points.
- Queerphobia
- Transphobia
- Furbies
- Bananas – I don’t know why, but the flavour makes me sick and really angry.
- Donald Trump
- Being treated like a child because I’m queer/trans/working class
- Not being able to get a tattoo done when I want
Today I was asked “What makes me feel guilty?”
Honestly this is a pretty easy answer. Not being able to see my family. I know often its physically impossible and there are time issues with us being so far away, but I really miss spending time with my family and I wish I could spend more time with them.
I’m going to have to fail on this challenge piece because honestly I don’t know the best route about it.
I have two pets, two cats and I’m poly. I assumed that this post would be about larger pets and I don’t know how sharing and time keeping on pets would be in play in a poly relationship.
