So this past two week a fair few things have happened, so let’s get down to business.
The start of April brought us the A – Z writing challenge, so I would like to thank the creators for this wonderful event. I’ve come across so many different styles of blogging and its amazing.
I’m finally up seeing my family. Woop woop. So I’m thankful for my family being there for me and me being able to spend time away from Brighton.
Some arsehole decided to not only rip off one of my old posts, make a transphobic piss take from it, they linked my post in their shitty thing. Plus side, free advertising. My blog blew up with views. So I thanked him for doing what he did.
It was also transgender day of visibility. Which meant that for one day, non queers apparently go on about how they love transgender people and think its all ok to not even bother the rest of the 365 days of the year. I thank everyone who is honestly respectful to the trans/non binary community and we need more allies that give a shit as opposed to people who give us lip service.
Kai took me to the sea life centre on Good Friday and it was really cool. I thank the sea life centre for giving us the backstage tour and being fucking awesome. Also I thank Kai for just being amazing.
I haven’t had as much time as I have wanted to with Steph recently and I hate that. I am thankful that they are so understanding that we are both really busy at the moment.
I am now the chair of FTMB, which is both terrifying and rewarding at the sane time. I thank everyone who has been around and just been amazing.
I got my hair done at a barbers / hair salon for the first time in years. I was called He the whole time, so that’s made me really happy.
I also took a really fun picture and got people no “Name my album” which ended up being really funny. So I’m thankful for humour.
I think that’s it! Its been a pretty busy couple of weeks, I’m surprised that I managed to squeeze this post in if I’m honest.
I shall see you all in two weeks time
dude!… nice work with your response to the low-life Post thief/(whatever)phobe! They’re out there, as all bloggers can attest to and, though it’s small solace, the fact of their own deficiency in this blogosphere, helps a little
…sorta
hey glad you could join the TToT this weekend, gonna be a bit slow, in part of the wonderful “Apples through Zebras Blog Challenge’ but on the plus side, makes it easier to keep up on reading the other TToT posts
oh yeah, FRIST!

Haha thank you. I’m looking forward to seeing what people have written this week, as you said, people are probably busy with the challenge.
Yes I tend to get a little bit bitchy with people who try and rip off what I’ve written
Thank you for your comment

I love the peacefulness of an aquarium. I’m glad you and Kai got to enjoy that. I’m doing the A-Z as well, I’ll stop by and see you.

Time away from the normal environs, always a thankful! Being with family a plus. (well, most of the time lol)
The Sea Life Centre sounds cool. Being a Pisces, I love all things relating to water 😀
Kudos if you’re doing the A-Z thing. I admire everyone who makes it through!

Thank you for your comment. I’m really enjoying the challenge at the moment. My things were picked by random people on the internet, so I have no theme

What an asshole. Is your stuff copyrighted? It should be. Everyone’s stuff is copyrighted and it can’t be pulled off of your site without your permission. There is some legality in that. Should be. I haven’t been a victim of that (thank fuck) but you should really look into that. Give that prick what he deserves. That’s not right. That’s not his work.

To be honest. I don’t care that he did it. My views quadrupled since he did it, and I’ve had nothing but positive vibes.
He also grabbed a few other more famous ones , including the new York times and gay news, so they will have a better chance to fuck him up then I ever could. Till then , I’m enjoying the free advertising haha

What a refreshing post to read. Kudos to you for so many things! I happened to personally love the shout out you did for your mom! Being a mom myself I hope I can one day protect, support, and inspire my kids to be 100% who they truly are… just like your mama has 🙂

I see what you are saying about one day a year set aside for something. Some people make a big deal, but it’s only one day. I know that is is a common thing in the disability area.
Also know what you mean, with the issue of someone else taking your stuff. My brother and I just wrote a song we are quite proud of and although it is a small risk, we want to make sure we take all the steps so that we keep it ours.
Good luck with A to Z.

I love the aquarium. That was one of the favorite things for me to do when my children were young. I guess I’ll need to go by myself now. And amazing hair cut. Hope you have better luck than I making it look as good as they do at the shop.

Haircuts are AWESOME and I always feel better after.
Glad you got to go to the aquarium – I think I’ve been once, and enjoyed it a lot. I like the ones which put some effort towards conservation/education (I guess a bit like the Trans Day of Visibility – ya gotta do what you can whilst people are paying attention).

1) thank you for the”like”. The killing story is somehow less popular…so that one is appreciated; )
2) I run a Tans health clinic, and have done so for almost a decade. Your response to the hate was lovely.

Thank you for the comment. I’m getting pretty good these days when it comes to hate. I’m getting more and more creative. That’s awesome that you run a health clinic, I run a group for trans masculine people.

I can’t believe someone stole your post! But hey, at least you got some new views out of it, right?! I loved your comment back at them, good stuff!
LOVE your haircut! I just started going to a barber vs. a salon (mainly bc I lost my job and can’t afford my old salon but that’s beside the point), it’s so much more affordable and I’m loving my super short hair 🙂
I *think* this is my first visit to your blog, so glad to make your acquaintance!
Enjoy the time with your family!!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment 🙂 Barbers are so much cheaper. Honestly I don’t know why men get hair cuts so much cheaper then women, its hair at the end of the day. The same process is happening, yeah I get a cheaper cut, but women should get the same.

You are most welcome for the comment 🙂
And yes, it’s INSANE how much I was paying to get my hair done before vs. now!!!
