For the first time ever in my life I played bingo properly last night. I’ve done it before when its been for chocolate or on the internet for free but I had never been to an actual bingo hall.
We got there and what was supposed to be a free join up and free main game ended up being £26 per person. I saw so many games being played it was overwhelming. These people (most over 60) were picking up these plastic toys with slide doors and numbers playing games for a pound a time. We were with our friend (and my adopted Nana) and she explained that these were the quick games, that people play before the main event.
The staff were really helpful and they had set up electronic machines so we didn’t have to worry about the paper books. The first couple of games were really quick but after a while we got the hang of it. We got Easter eggs and Lauren even won £10.50 for getting a line. It lasted about an hour and a half, but it was good fun. Drinks and food was also really cheep and the staff were so helpful. We also got loads of freebies for next time we were there.
I will have to certainly try it again.
